I mentioned before, that last year in December I was selling at iDoll for the first time!
Due to my good experience applying and vending at iDoll last time, this year I applied to vend at iDoll Vol. 49 in Tokyo on 23 April 2017! I will be vending with KitDolls who make crochet items (it will be her first time vending, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!) If you happen to be in Japan at that time, we hope to see you there! iDoll Vol. 49 will be held at TRC it will be my first time going to that area.
Below is our “PR cut” image — the table number and location will be announced on the iDoll’s website as the date draws closer. I am still preparing the items I am intending to bring/show case so I will post about it when it gets closer too.
When I visited Japan last June for Blythe Con Tokyo, I met up with a Alphond who told me that applying for iDoll for Foreign sellers isn’t very difficult and that I should try for it. Turns out we found some cheap air fare to Japan in November and so I decided to bite the bullet and apply for iDoll!

Hello again ^^; Been too long since I last posted! I had been quite busy!
I also realized I forgot to post a thank you to everyone who visited and bought something from me at iDoll Tokyo! (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) After I came back from my trip, I was hit by a nasty cough/cold/bug plus jet lag making it hard to get much done x_x I am still working on a couple things for some very patient people since I came back (sooooo sorry for the wait! =_=)
In anycase, you may have seen… Mirai adopted Chitose from this trip ^^; You can the news on twitter @puppy52, here’s the snippet :3
I need to do a proper post entirely on my visit to Mirai store! >___<; Much has changed since I last went in fact!
After the visit I went to check out illumination near Gotanda station! It was rather difficult to take night pictures ^^;;;; I think I am only happy with 2 photos ;_;
Mirai went to check out an Illumination with me near Yoyogi ^o^ Here’s the tweet ^o^ I have a few other pictures but they’re a little dark and I have to edit them before I post – this is the best one from my camera ^o^;
Later during the trip I managed to take Chitose to Akiba too ^o^ This trip was a bit tough as I was mostly on my own, and had to try not to over do it in case I hurt my leg/back. Thankfully most of the trip I was quite okay, and I didn’t make anything worse ^^; I still have pain, but they only bother me a little more when it is really cold outside ^o^;
And when I got back to Canada, I was in “Winter wonderland” for a few days, but since I was sick I was unable to take very challenging snow pictures I had in my head =_= Very disappointing indeed, especially since this is probably the most snow we got since the last few years of “drought” :P after the day I took the photos below, the snow melted off due to rain ^^; I feel bad I couldn’t even pose Ebichu (Mini mamachapp) properly before I took the photos ^^; — she fell off once and I was like okay….. I’m just gonna take photos of Chitose then LOL
Lastly wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy 2017 from us all!
I am already back in Vancouver, a little jet lagged still, with some odd muscle pains ^o^;
But I wanted to say a BIG and heart felt THANK YOU Blythe Con Japan, the Organizers, Volunteers and Sponsors! It was a super awesome convention, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly despite some personal hiccups on the day of! Like sneezing too hard due to allergies and pulling an odd back muscle the morning of Blythe Con…. o_o; And thank you to my kind kind hosts (you know who you are!) for having me this time, it really helped to have a roof and company, and also sound advice for my reducing the pain from my odd injury XD! Words cannot describe my gratefulness :) I was telling my husband how much fun it was when one day the adults of the household were all playing with dolls at night LOL! I will post some quick snippets from my phone here, there is quite a lot to share, so I will be eventually posting other photos and activities in detail when I can.
I also want to thank my dear husband for staying back to care for our furkids, especially Ginko (she has epilepsy and needs medication 3 times a day, hence it was not possible for us to travel together for a while now…) I wished he could have come with me, but I am really also very thankful if not for him staying behind, I probably won’t be able to bring myself to focus on the convention and activities around it.

Due to some good timing and using our upcoming 10 year wedding anniversary as an excuse, we managed to visit Tokyo for about a week, just in time for Hanami! Meaning of Hanami on wikipedia.
This time we were quite broke (lol) so focused most of the time on taking as many photos as we possibly can, walking about was great exercise too lol! I brought Aki along with me for photos ^o^/

As always, the tutorial for how to make the Santa’s hat can be found here :D
Due to various reasons this year we were super burnt out, and somehow found our way to the land of the rising sun for a short trip not too long ago ^^; – for a hit and run vacation, mind you ^^; The trip started off quite rough due to some health related problem on my end (argh) among other things, but you know it wasn’t too bad as our love of Japan made us enjoyed it no matter what. Came back slightly recharged despite still suffering from jet lag. ^^;

Really fell off the blogging wagon for a bit, finally have some time to force myself to continue looking through and editing the photos taken earlier this year in Japan :)
As you can probably tell from Aki’s hair in the picture above, it is very windy still ^^; you can see how windy it is in the part 1 pf Showa Kinen Koen
