Tutorial: Dollfie Dream Socks – Printer Free Version!

Been a while since I last made a tutorial, noticed that the links to the past tutorials are a bit messy (oops!)

This pattern is made to fit Dollfie Dream, feel free to adapt it for other dolls!
IMPORTANT!: You will need to use light colour fabric or a fabric which you know will not stain your Dollfie Dream.  If you want to use a colour fabric, especially dark color fabric, please test it on a part of your doll which is not normally exposed to check if it stains.

In this tutorial, I used a dark grey cotton knit fabric which I have tested on a spare bust piece I have —  I know for sure the fabric I use will not stain my dollfie dream’s vinyl body. I have bad experience with dark sewing thread (black sewing thread especially), so I am using white thread — also, it is easier to see on photos.

You will need:

  • A Dollfie Dream to lend you her leg (or a different doll if you prefer)
  • Light colour knit fabric (example thin tee-shirt material)
  • Paper
  • Eraser (in case of mistakes, or if you are going to trace with a pen after)
  • Pencil (Optional, a pen)
  • Ruler — if you prefer to make a shorter pair of socks
  • Scissors for cutting out the pattern
  • Scissors for the fabric
  • Sewing machine with light thread (not pictured above) Please use ball-point needle for knit fabric!

Taiga back to school

Himitsu’s recent dress was adjusted to make it more like a bubble dress :) It’s shorter, flirty-er and cuter no? I also finally made a pair of white thigh high socks for the girls to keep… can you believe I never made a pair for them until now? ^^;

Another batch is coming! I wanted to list some today but after sewing a lot of the metal hooks and loops onto the bikini tops I had to take a break from it all, I try to be careful but my fingers were pricked time to time by the needle and are quite sore still ^^; But the results… <3!

Dollfie Dream Bikinis random listing

** Paid items are being sorted and packed, thank you for waiting patiently, items will be mailed on weekend of 24-25 july and e-mails will be sent when they are mailed. m(_  _)m!

As I mentioned on twitter yesterday I decided to randomly list bikini sets over this coming week. When items are sold I will try to update the status when I get a chance to since I might be away from computer after I list.  On Sunday I probably won’t list anything (so everyone can relax a bit hopefully ^^;)

So how it is going to work is, if you happen to buy more than 1 set over this week on different days, I will refund any extra shipping so that you only need to pay one shipping cost for more than one set.

I will most likely be mailing everything out on weekend of 24-25 July. IF you’re very sure that you bought everything your dollfie musume wanted in one try, you can let me know and if I can pack and ship it sooner than weekend I will do so.  Hope this is clear!
