Interview section

Decided to make a new section for brief interviews with people I personally look up to in the doll field.:) I was inspired to request an interview with Matin sensei after I had the luck to acquire this lovely sofa kit during the last trip to Tokyo.

…which reminds me,I haven’t blogged about loot yet! (facepalm)

The kit came with all the items needed to complete it,I just needed to pick a nice fabric and follow some very detailed instructions to complete it:)

Mamachapps enjoying the sofa ^o^

I put the sofa next to my computer…The Mamachapps tell me they are hungry…

Fast food get!

From hungry…to FULL!

Thanks again for looking~ You can see lots of Matin sensei’s works on the Atelier Matin flickr group ^o^/
Hope you liked the little interview!:)

Doh! I knew I forgot something ^^;I asked Matin about DD size accessories,he said he does not have a DD to make the items from but if he has specific measurements for a sofa he probably can make it ^^

His furniture IS amazing indeed! And I cannot get over how light they are! I had looked for ages for a suitable couch for my dolls for a long time, many are too heavy and bulky ^^;but this one is perfect:D!

what a nice interview! Matin-san does seem quite humble! He work is beautiful and perfect for pampered dollies! Speaking of which, lol at the “full”pic!
off note:I read you are in the process of a Taiga dollfie? I am waiting for a 1/6th head to paint up as Taiga! WIll be interested to see yours when she is done:) Mini dollfie Shana is my wish, but way outside my budget:S I am pretty happy though with the 1/6th heads they are only about 1500yen!

He’s a very nice guy:) when I first met him in person he quickly introduced the other doll-collectors/customisers who are well known in the blythe field to me and some other out of town doll folks:) And yes I am in process of making a Taiga Dollfie ^^;I hope it will work out okay ^^;still have a lot to do:P The nice thing about smaller dolls is that they’re easy to take out for photoshoots ^o^
