Mirai Maid – documentation
I posted a sneak preview of the back view last year, I had been meaning to document this but things got busy really quick due to Christmas festivities, along with some family matters, then new year rolled along… x_x
Picture above is Aki in dollfie dream Dynamite body, some photo editing done to correct some wrinkles caused by the curves of the doll’s body~
The first version of this outfit (Initially I named the post/outfit something else), was made for Dollfie Dream L-bust. I did not make anymore of the outfit until last year, due to various reasons – ran low on a particular lace, and that this outfit did take a long time to finish. (Over a period of months perhaps?) By the time thankfully I found more of the lace which I needed.
When I made the outfit in 2009 then, we didn’t know it was in Danny’s future is to make an actual doll (!!!) The backview of this outfit has been updated to be closer to the artwork posted on mirai.fm.
* Please note that Aki is in a Dollfie Dream Dynamite body, hence the hefty bosom in the frontal, means this post probably is NSFW under cut, you have been warned :P

The (secret) Smart doll parts which I have, in order to create the pattern to make the outfit to fit properly, is not complete. I found that this outfit somewhat (not perfectly) fit the Dollfie Dream Dynamite body, which is why I took some photos before packing it for delivery. ^^
If you look closely you’ll see that the waist part is quite wrinkled, on the smart doll it will fit and look a lot better ^^
When I made this 2nd set, I under determined how much the hand sewing of the final ribbons were going to slow me down so much ^^;;;;

Due to a short impromptu trip with husband last December to wind down, Aki managed to deliver the Mirai Maid set and we got to see the prototype in person ^o^/ below is a picture which Danny featured on his blog entry ^^/ Some of you may even have seen this outfit at a convention in Asia by now? ^^/
Received permission to post a couple more of Danny’s precioussss which we had the chance to see during our short trip :D Can’t wait for her to be ready! ^o^

The photo of Kizuna smiling in the maid dress, is that really her? she looks so cute smiling compared to her stern face
Actually Mirai and Kizuna are the same face mold, the make up (or face up) really gives her a different look and feel :3
I would be just as happy to buy the set from you, I can tell you’ve got amazing sewing skills. It’s definitely a quality product.
Considering the level of difficulty in details, you probably won’t be selling this outfit, right? That being the case, would you have a pattern that others could follow available? I would pay to learn how to make my inevitable Mirai inclusion one of these adorable outfits.
I actually intend to make a set for ebay eventually but it’s taking a backseat for other more pressing stuff right now ^^;
Currently I won’t be selling patterns mainly due to that making of parts of some of my patterns are not straight forward – i.e not join A to B.
I cannot imagine the post sale support I need to give if I sell it ^^; Thanks for the interest tho! If I ever work things out on the patterns end I would love to sell some. Pricing will be a bit of a PITA too lol
I would also love to buy some patterns from you, even if they are for other things like shirts and skirts, pant,pantsu, etc.
